Week 11: Irish – Lamb Shank in Irish Stout
We were so excited to make this recipe. I love lamb shank, Tony loves Guiness. What could go wrong?
Everything went wrong. His lamb shank was tough and impossible to get meat off, mine was okay in texture but tasteless. I’m not even going to dignify it with a post of the recipe because man, what a disappointment!
As great as the picture of our meal looks… pictures lie.
We received free tacos and chips and guacamole that day though, so we are looking on the bright side here. I still want to try cooking lamb shank again someday but… we need to recover from this loss.
